Enthusiasts ready to start racing can begin with the Podium Club’s upcoming two-day Competition Licensing Classes. Designed for drivers who want to earn a recognized racing license, this immersive program combines classroom instruction with extensive on-track training in a structured, supportive environment.

Two sessions are scheduled for 2026: January 28–29 and March 11–12, giving aspiring racers multiple opportunities to participate. Over the course of two full days, students will learn essential racing fundamentals, including racecraft, flags and procedures, situational awareness, starts, passing rules, and safety protocols. Classroom sessions are paired with progressive on-track exercises that allow drivers to apply what they’ve learned in real time, under the guidance of experienced instructors.

The program is ideal for HPDE drivers looking to advance to time trial, time attack, and or wheel-to-wheel racing – or anyone serious about entering organized motorsports competition. Upon successful completion, participants will have met the requirements to apply for a competition license, opening the door to club racing events and sanctioned series.

Private coaching at the Podium Club offers drivers and motorcycle riders an exceptional opportunity to elevate their skills with focused, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s goals.

For automobile drivers, private coaching through the Podium Club Racing Academy provides personalized, one-on-one training that goes far beyond a typical track day. Students bring their own vehicles and work directly with an experienced instructor to refine techniques such as vehicle dynamics, threshold braking, alternate racing lines, passing exercises, and situational awareness. The Podium Club Cactus Cup Invitational returns on March 7, bringing members and their guests together for a full day of competitive track action at the Podium Club’s world-class road racing circuit. As the final round of the Cactus Cup championship series, this invitational event offers by-class competition for motorcycles, sedans, sports cars, and open-wheel race cars—perfect for anyone who’s dreamed of testing themselves against the clock or battling other drivers wheel-to-wheel.

The Cactus Cup is a member series built on the traditions of respectful, community-driven racing, with championship points awarded throughout the season and opportunities to compete in both time trial and wheel-to-wheel competition formats. Members are racing for trophies and season championships, and non-members can participate in the March 7 series finale if they have a member invite and haven’t already race twice this season.
